Chris this may be an eye opener.

Maybe this calculation will settle the discussion

Original cost  $434.80 US
Conversion to TT$   -= 2739.24
Import duty (20% on C.I.F.) = 547.84
Stamp duty (12%) on c.i.f plus Import duty = 394.45
Value added tax (15%) on ci.f plus import duty plus stamp duty = 552.23

Total = $4,233.76

That is what it would cost to play with antennas

P.S We dont work for US$. We pay the equivalent though. A Mc Donald
hamburger is $20.00 here.
