I work for the NY public utility commission and was responsible for a major
transmission siting case a number of years ago.  If you read the actual
studies, you will find that the greatest fields on humans come not from
power lines, but from vacuum cleaners, electric blankets, toasters, etc.
Also, the effect on cows grazing under the lines does not turn their milk
