Hi, Tim;

Be sure to calculate loads on the house.  A tower can crack plaster.  I 
tall tower, more than 45', can 'work' the structure and weaken it.  It 
is advisable to consider adding bracing to carry the load.  This 
requires analysis by a knowledgeable structural engineer.
