Hi Dave,

Let me assume you meant in regard to trying to determine how to maximize
your contesting score. 

These kinds of questions are one of the interesting and enjoyable dilemmas
of contesting, and the answer is different for everyone. What I've done is
gone to the ARRL (members only) contest scores database . There you can sort
the results by section, entry category, and view the by-band-breakdown of
Q's and grids. Then do some what-iffing to see how would your score have
changed if you also had a given band and made a similar number of contacts
on that new band. Pick someone you thing has similar station equipment
(hi/lo power) and antennas (elevation, tower height) to what you have in
mind.  Then factor in if you have the required coax, tower space, budget,
etc.

I want to add a band this season.  I currently run 50, 144, 432.  What band
would have the most activity in northeast/mid atlantic area.  222 or 1296
or??
