Be sure the computer is not running any other programs with you are running
WL. In Windows, do a Ctrl-Alt-Delete and close (End Task) any programs that
are not absolutely essential.
I run WL on a 233 mhz laptop and almost never (but on rare occasions do)
experience the choppy keying. You just may need a faster machine.
