Comments:
Twenty meters sounded dead before the start, so I did not bother with it. The
forty meter band was great -- things were rolling fast there. Decided to go to
80 for the last 10 minutes to get some more mults. Unfortunately, my Q rate
suffered by moving to 80. Very few calls heard when I first moved to 80, but
it was better the last 5 minutes. Still, this was an improvement for me. This
was my second ever NCCC sprint.
SOSR :)
Radio: K3 at 100 watts.
Antennae: 40m, 40-2CD at 63 feet, kept at 180 degrees (west)
80m, inverted V dipole, apex at 58 feet.
Never bothered to switch in the other 40m antennae - maybe next time.
Was too busy trying to keep the rate going. :)
It was fun. Thanks for the QSOs. Thank you NCCC for sponsoring this event.
73, Gary
