Comments:

One Radio: K3 @ 100W ; Antennae: 20 / 40 -- TH6 / 40-2CD ; 80 -- INV V Dipole.
Op times: First 9 mins on 20, next 15 mins on 40, and last 6 mins on 80.

I missed several of the should-be-easy, midwest mults. Oh well.

Band conditions were better here than last week. For a change, 20 meters was
open at the start -- pipe line to CA. I spent too much time on 20 - plenty of
CA stations, but not many other mults there- DUH! As usual, 40 was great.
Forty was so good, I only spent the last 6, instead of the planned 10, minutes
on 80. I had to force myself to break away from 40 meters. More time on 80
would have helped to reach the 1000 point-plus level. Oh well, practice,
practice, practice . . .

I got things set up to record the sprint during the hour before the SNS. I
recorded the SNS for a test run (worked OK) then set up a different file for
the HS version. Things were all queued to record the HS event, but I got
engrossed in the fray at the beginning and forgot to start the recording at
0230Z. I noticed that at about 10 minutes into the Sprint, so I have a
recording of the last 20 minutes. Thanks to my grandson Cal (a.k.a. Kid) /
K0DXC for providing me with tips and pointing me in the right direction to
fetch the needed software and get set up for audio recording. I had not done
that before. Mentoring works in both directions: Old-to-young and
young-to-old. Thanks for teaching this old dog something new, Cal. :)

Thanks everyone for the Q's and M's. Thanks to the NCCC crew for sponsoring
this event and thanks everyone for the great activity. This is fun. 73, Gary
