Comments:
Just before CWT the Aurora was hovering over 40 GW
Hemisphere power, but it tapered down to 25 GW at
the end of the 1300Z session. Something similar is
in the forecast for the second part of CQWW SSB, but
the prediction for Saturday's FOCQP/BW looks good.
However, timing for the Au-forecast has failed more
often than not (has been corrected afterward).
QSB on 14 Mhz was such that USA-stations peaked half
od the time out of the noise. With 8 dB more over here
it seem that my RX-noise floor on the sloper wire with
the 14 MHz trap embedded in wet snow is the limiting
factor. Many callin G's were at the noise border....
