Comments:

Not a good night. Terrific storm this afternoon, but it cleared up (and
apparently headed over to KZ5D land. Sorry Art.) Made it to the shack a bit late
and my PC decided to act strange and update forever and ever. Finally booted up
at 0203 or so. Drat! Seemed to work OK after that, and did OK until I hit 80.
Must be a total zero on that band as hardly got any answers to CQS and lost
every jumper. Never made it to 160. Many were lots ahead of me.

Five min segments: 6 (late), 9, 11, 8. 4 (!!! Still don't know what happened
there), and a punky 7 to end the night. Just could not get stations to come back
to me as so many others were calling to the CQer.

Oh well. At least XE2K and his brother came today and found and fixed a
long-standing problem in my NE tri-bander. Lots of dings and problems in the 7/8
inch hardline as it turned out. Really? Yep. Now I can beam NE on 15 meters with
a decent SWR.

Tnx for the usual rush. It sounded like NO3R was hitting home runs all night.
Way to go Eric.
