Indeed.  ... For an 8281 or 8171, from the bottom of the SK-300A tube 
socket one may be able couple a dipmeter coil to one of the (typically 8) 
screen collet grounding straps that traverse the airway.  .  .  It is my 
opinion that operating a tetrode near or above its grounded-screen 
resonance is an open invitation to parasitic oscillation.
