Yes it has and at the 5KW level in 2-30 MHz commercial applications
actually. It used a ferrite core , not external beads. Im just waiting a
bit to see what a few wannabe experts have to say..I need a good chuckle
now and then from this reflector.
The design was briefly ublished in HRM and I built and evaluated a few. I
screwed up several times by not reading and eventually got one going
great with a 4CX5000A.
It just is not something that Joe Sixpack can conjure up in the
kitchen...requires something more basic then a hammer....or no experience
but an instant expert.
