Indeed. Another problem is that people who use ferrites tend not to read
the manufacturer's specifications regarding max. frequency rating. For
example, a ferrite with a Mu of 2000 looks very attractive for ham use.
The fly in the ointment is that the max. freq. rating for it is Far less
than 1.8MHz.
