Why not?
Have you looked at the Q of various VHF/UHF amps where it exceeds 50 or
so?
There is no hard rule that says you MUST use a Q of 10, 12 or whatever.
Component specs and expected no tune bandwidth would be a more preferable
indicator.
OTOH, several commercial amps use the least expensive route and make
their money selling replacement parts.
