Why?
RL depends on plate voltage swing and peak plate current. Admittedly,
increasing the idling current should increase the plate current at the peak
of the current pulse (grid most positive, although it may still be negative
wrt cathode), but the direct relationship of RL for any plate voltage swing
is peak plate current, not ZSAC.
Incidentally, if all tubes follow a 3/2 power law, (which suggests that the
values in the polynomial for the grid volts/plate current relationship are
constant and fixed by physics) why are some tubes more linear than others?
