Too right, Rich. SSB lets you get away with a lot of sins - like
electrolytics with low ripple current ratings, transformers without much
iron and current densities of 2000 amps/sq inch and more, parasitic
suppressor resistors with insufficient dissipation rating, fans which are
quiet..........
