YES! They may in fact, be here.

Very much here. The power supply issue is probably possible to address at
the 50V drain level,
but I can't say for sure as I am a novice at buck converter design. Anybody?

Or stick to CW/Digital.

OOPS! I would say that they have the potential to outlast tubes. This
potential is only
realizable with very good design. Most SS amp engineers that I have spoken
to have quite
a bit bag of BeO packages filled with impure slagged beach sand.
