I read in a German radio magazine from around 1920 the following sentence: " will radio tubes ever replace spark gaps in radio transmitters? ". Nothing new under the sun then? de Hans/SM5KI That is about the time that the U.S. government was considering the abolishment of the U.S. Patent Office because they believed that everything that could be invented HAD been invented!
