Hi Jim and all,
I have received the new WinWatt from RF Applications, and it is very good, I
use two sensors ( one after the exciters and another behind the amp ) with
it so you always know the Gain or if it is any problem between, it is very
fast and precise you can tune the amp or tuner like with a needle meter,
very ease to calibrate, SWR alarm and so on, best of all a sensible price.
Well I have own all kind of them Bird, Drake, Ameritron, Hansen and P-3000
( RF Ape.) etch., for me this one is the best, but you need the Computer on,
it uses one com port for both sensors, if I would have to buy another will
not mind to await several months.
Sorry for the advert but I have to say.

Asunto: [AMPS] Watt meters
For our business I just tried to buy a watt meter from RF Applications. We
wanted their VFD watt meter. They have a three week or better waiting time.
Their dealers have no stock. I don't understand how they run a business
that way, but many do. We had the same problem when we ordered amplifiers.
No one had stock. All quoted a long wait. Any recommendations other than a
Bird for a QRO watt meter that can read peak output?
