I have a 3 phase drop at my house - which consists of 2 power transformers.
One of the transformers is the standard transformer.

However, 3 phase is considered a commercial service so monthly rate is 3
times higher.  Over the 20 years I have had it in, I could have paid for an
inverter many times over.
