That's interesting Jim. According to an e-mail
two weeks ago from Paul Hrivnak at Palstar the
RI28HP roller inductor used in the AT4K tuner is
made from scratch at their facility. I can't
speak for the quality of their components but the
prices are
very reasonable, even compared to ebay or Surplus
sales, and they will sell individual components
one at a time. Take a look, palstarinc.com, and
no I'm not affiliated.
