Any of the better electric motor rewind shops can vacuum impregnate the
xfmr. and it will probably be as good as new. The process: transformer is
submerged in heated varnish in a vacuum tank, process usually takes 24 hrs.
plus cool down/dry time takes a few days. Iv`e had several of my own done
with outstanding results. Jim.
