Got an e-mail earlier today about International Rectifier having a new FET
that would replace the 2N2907 and 2N2222. Quote; "The IRHLUB7970Z4 and
IRHLUB770Z4 require less energy, switch faster and feature a lower
on-state resistance". So I said, this sounds good, I'll follow the link
(below) and take a looksie. I took a look and read the page, but at the
very bottom was the price. Uhhhh, well, I don't think that price would
beat the 10 to 15 cents a piece I pay for the 2N2222. And at that, you
have to buy 500 of theirs to get the price shown.
