If it's like a TL-922, the same amount of 120V current pass through the fuses 
regardless of how it's strapped.  It's just that on 240, the 120 phases are 
split.  What's so hard to understand about that?  From the source, it draws all 
the current from a single 120 wire, instead of two 120V wires carrying half the 
current.  Input power is the same -- no brain surgery here.
