Yes, but it remains odd and predictably troublesome
that they altered specs but not the tube nomenclature.

Instead of multiple variants of 6146A why not 6146C
or D or something else?

The boatanchor lists are littered with confusion re.
what tubes work in what circuits, how to tame them,
and why the unlabeled variations between production
years and/or manufacturers.

It is not just the 6146's it is many tube types.

Sure, the audiophools get all worked up over variations
that mean little or nothing but in RF apps oscillation
in a final can ruin your whole day!  :-)
