Hi
You might try Altronic. They have tons of information
on their web page. I am sure they can advise you of a
suitable replacement. They also sell water cooled and
other resistors independently of the loads that they
sell.
Their manuals also offer a lot of ideas for those
considering building their own loads. However there
is little information on the tapered line sections
that house the resistors.
