The discolouration on silver plate has led in the past to teh use of a
'flash' of iridium over the top. That doesn't discolour.
Other cures for VHF parasitics using strange materials are the same as
that involve collecting mountain ash berries on a moonless Wednesday
night, while stark naked. Eyes of toads come into it, too.
