You sterilize and de-grease a new immersion cooling coil (50ft 3/8" copper) before use to cool down freshly boiled beer, by boiling it in a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water. It makes the copper shine like gold. It should work great fot 10 meter coils. Just rinse with distilled water and dry afterwards.
