I think I'll leave my copper coils well enough alone. I will watch the
efficiency however, and if it starts to fall off on ten meters, I will
clean them up. All the coils in my homebrew amp are screw-mounted, so
removing them for cleaning is easy. If I have to do it every year or
two,that's no big deal.
