Yes, we live opposite a farm and pretty much right by the cowshed. Visitors
from the city comment on the moooooing but we don't notice it. Conversely if I
have to stay in London I can't sleep because of the traffic noise
So far no-one has complained about rf-irradiated beef....

You can also hear them quite well in the mornings and evenings - we have
a Hood Dairy processing plant about 8 miles from my house. Milk and Ice
Cream is produced from the raw milk. When I was in high school i built
a temperature alarm for the bulk tanks at one of the local farms,
Rang bells and flashed lights if temp exceeded a setpoint 38 degrees if
I recall correctly.
