Dick K4XU demonstrated a solid-state module that was water cooled. He hooked up an electrically controlled sprinkler system valve to the amp keying line and whenever he was transmitting, a stream of water flowed through the module, then outside to the backyard where it fed his garden irrigation system. He was watering the garden whenever he was on the air! 73, Ward N0AX _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
