Experience trumps specs. The amp goes into standby mode after about 30 minutes
running at full power, i.e. about 1200 W.  If I run it at around 400-500 W it
is fine.

REPLY:

May I ask what tube(s) get too hot with 90 CFM? According to Eimac, a
pair of 3-500Zs at 1500 watts output need only about 26 CFM. At 1500
watts output an 8877 needs only about 20 CFM.

Just curious.
