In 2000, My TS-830s allmost kill me due to  this problem.
  The  relay seems  have problem and 6146B flash over,when  the problems 
solved,I made  a big mistake, when it power on, I pull  the upper cover  from 
the table, but the cover conected to t the 6146B plate 's cap , my figer was 
burned, when I throw away the cover, I found my finger appear a hole.Many years 
later, My skin in my finger still with a  seam and seem write a bit.
