Pete,
The blower noise is not objectionable at all. Its slightly louder then a
desktop computer, very quite for a 2KW + amp. I did manage to get the
blower to kick up to medium speed but that was not all the loud either.
About the sound, its a DC brushless motor and what noise there is slightly
rough. Its like you can hear the strong magnetic flux on the motor as it
spins. I also found if the amp is flat on the table and not on the front
stand the motor noise is attenuated even further.
