Mike got it right the first time. The length of a PL259 and mating 
connector is quite small as a fraction of a wavelength below 500 MHz.  
The so-called mis-match losses are pretty much fictional, and won't show 
up in a careful measurement by substitution, and if it doesn't show up 
in such a measurement it isn't real.
