Reminds me of the QST review of the Command HF-2500 a few years ago where the
reviewer said (paraphrasing) the HF-2500 layout would be exceptionally easy to
work on.
I would invite that fellow to try to change the meter lights on an HF-2500, or
the plate tank toroid, both of which burned on mine. A kludgier mess you have
never seen.
