The tune control is a roller coil.
Make sure you have the correct numbers in the window for the band you are
on....and that you have an antenna or dummy connected.
Ditto the load control.

Any thoughts on why my Henry has decided to operate as an attenuator? The
tubes check out as good in another amp. The amp appears to tune and load.
The relays checked out okay w/ only an ohmmeter. When under load, I am now
getting about 20% of my drive power out as compared to standby where I get
all of it. The amp sounds as if it's groaning when under load. Again, it's a
Henry 2K classic (floor model) having left Henry's factory in Jan '97.

Tnx es 73,
Jim W5QM
