I have known Merit for some time. I would prefer buying from RF Parts myself.
That reminds me, does anyone have contact information for Reid Brandon?

You may be right, but I'd rather buy from someone I know.
I've bought from RF Parts for a long time and never had any problems. Only
tube that ever went bad was my fault and they still replaced it for free.

Greetings to all,

In my opinion, a "reputable distributor" doesn't have anything to
do with the issue. 99% of all new 572B's come from the same factory in
China. If the tubes won't meet muster, the problem is in the factory, not
the distributor.
