How do you get the proper airflow through the 3CX800A7 bottom up, also with
the standard ceramic chimney in a horizontal position?

I have also been using an MLA2500 modified with a horizontally mounted
3CX800A7 for over 10 years. It works fine - and the tube cost me $100 as
although it was new it had been dropped and has a dented plate! Don't know
about the other types of amplifiers mentioned.
