Semantics.

In the aviation electronics business "ground loop" is a common, well
accepted phrase which means coupling from one circuit to another due to less
than perfect common "ground".

It's more than semantics, because it causes people to pursue the wrong solutions to problems.

It is a long accepted term by any engineer with more than a diploma to wave around and it has been passed down thru decades of top engineers. This thread is a waste of time and has evolved to a circular argument. I hope George puts a stop to it and you find another forum to preach on.
