Thanks Mike. Yes I did the online research first and followed what seemed to be the best advice. Brought the filament up to full voltage very slowly in small steps, then let it run for a week and a half at full filament power, no plate voltage. I am doing the hi pot test with cold filament, grid grounded and positive voltage on the plate.
