Greetings,
I just acquired an old Hunter 2000C.
It came wired for 110V, but I plan on running it off my dedicated 220 circuit.
I see there is only one cartridge type fuse in it and this bothers me.
Shouldn't both sides of the line have a fuse/breaker, especially now that I'll
put it on 220? And if so, shouldn't they be ganged together, so if it trips,
all voltage is removed? Or am I over thinking this?
Also, and this is a stretch, but might anyone have a meter from one available?
The plate/volt meter got smashed in shipping and although the actual movement
seems to be still OK, the plastic front case and actual needle part is snapped
off. Otherwise it looks pretty clean and once I build an amp keyer, it looks
like it would be ready to play.
Thanks,
Kathy, W2NK
