For the SO2R crowd, this one amp takes the place of two, which makes the economics look a lot better. Also, it is no-tune, remotely controllable, and has 6 Meter coverage.

As Jim says, for $7000, it should be capable of 1500 watts RF out for hours with a brick on the key and no damage or shortened lifetime.

If it can't do that, why pay so much when there are far cheaper options? Heck, in what way is it superior to an AL-82 or AL-1500 at half the price, much less the higher-quality tube-based options available?
