Once again the relay is engaging in operate because the ptt line is shorted or 
closed by radio.  Do you see plate idle current?

Forgive my ignorance but I thought it was to put the amp in circuit. 
Which it does because power is output. Unkeying the amp and the receive 
is weak. When the op switch is on.
