Howdy gang!
Does anyone know of a TSR that can selectively toggle the individual
data bits (pins) on an LPT port? I'm using hardware to control
recording off the air with a Sound Blaster card (using Voice Blaster
software for contests). I'd like to engage the record relay thru software
as opposed to throwing a switch.

I lived at K3ZO's house for a couple of years. There's a bad line noise
problem at Fred's place, which rears it's ugly head on 28 MHz and above
primarily. I'm sure this was why Fred couldn't hear you. Especially if
the wx was dry and windy. :-)
Fred is one of the top ops in the world, by anyone's estimation. His
ears are amazing, as is his knowledge of propagation......

Hello Guys,
Here is our ARRL 10 m score :
Call : I4UFH Category : Multioperator
QSO : 348
Country : 77
USA State : 23
Total Score : 98200
Operators : I4UFH , I4JMY , I4YSS , IK4IEE , I2VXJ.
Very bad conditions all the weekend, saturday good EU running in the morning
and at our sunset 25 minutes of opening with USA only CW. Sunday morning only
37 QSO in 5 hours, but at the sunset a GREAT opening with US .... 45 minutes
with also 20 minutes of SSB !!!! Great, this was the best part of the Contest.
Probably we had good conditions in South Europe, Northern EU, had very few
chance with US, several EA working US after the Italian opening.
Thank's to all for the QSO !!!

and at times the same mult, but different station, is pleading for Q's just a
few kHz up the band from the monster pileup. I've seen that many times
myself.

Yes, Nebraska is a black hole. I'm convinced. The blackest

2 misses in SS for me this year, and W3EP missed on 10
meters. The W0 in Nebraska I worked on the RS-12 Satellite
the other night (what I do when I can escape to the radio room
and all the bands except 160m are dead) probably didn't
understand why I told him I wished he would operate

Dick - There is a problem with this point. As a member of the Frankford
Radio Club, I do my part and announce spots EVEN when single-op. In the
single-op mode of CT, you can still announce DX, though you can't receive
the spots.
If someone really wanted to cheat, they'd be dumb to connect to the
cluster, rather than just monitor the output, with all the "I can't
believe he did better than me, he must have cheated" types out there.
