I don't see that you are saying anything contrary: just different. He said
the '550 chips are all you need. You're saying the '50 chips aren't
enough, and that the '550 chips work fine.

My Pentium II system is in that class: not even one spare interrupt.
Has anyone seen a sloution (add on multi-RS232 interface) using the Universal
Serial Bus (USB) port?
