Was it real or was it Memorex? I heard both.

What is most noteworthy, is that no-one has mentioned
the north american group calling for hours on 3797. From
what I understand, another DX window no-no.

Or we can discuss the people who work VK6LK EVERY
afternoon just to tell him that the wx stinks in the northeast
US this time of year.

To focus on contesters as the only abusers of the "dx window"
may not be 100% accurate.

Subject: [CQ-Contest] DX'er/Contester gets electric chair
Message-ID: <01bd2529$17b581e0$67e56ac6@default>

Arghhh...I'm listening for the 8Q7 operation thru
a wall of noise...caused by a neighbor charging up
her electric mini-wheelchair. I traced the noise
down last night but does anyone know why this contraption
would cause noise 3.5 - 29Mz with an S9+ girgling
noise every 5Khz? What components in the charging
circuitry should I look for as culprits? Obviously
the gal needs to get around her home...

Thanks in advance,

John K7FD
