Barry...you are making this WAY too hard...
Audio from left rig and right rig go to a rotary switch, 3 position, two
poles...
The "left of center" position is left rig audio in BOTH left and right ears
The "center" position is left rig in left ear, and right rig in right ear
(your desired scenario in the world of I can do two things at once)
The "right of center" position is right rig in BOTH left and right ears
If you wanna start talking about mixing audio and the like I ask you this:
Why not simply adjust each rigs front panel controls til the levels are
comparable?
Or are you at a loss for something to do while two radio contesting and you
just have to have SOME EXTRA knobs to tinker with??
If the later is the case, DAMN YOUR GOOD!
