I'll offer another reason for working dupes. I actually fell victim
to this myself in the ARRL 10m Contest this weekend and I had to
sheepishly ask for several dupes. My deepest apologies to those of
you that I had to dupe.
About 1.5 hours into the contest, my computer hung up, probably from
stray RF. This has happened before. It's frustrating, but not really
devastating ... until THIS time! I rebooted and my log was gone!
A desperate search on the computer yielded nothing.
I had to start from scratch. :-(
