Or maybe the right thing to do when coming back from jumping to another band/freq for a mult is to simply ask upon return "is the frequency in use?" the answer then dictates the result. If someone has moved in them maybe they own the freq now, if not it is yours again. What is it they say...posession is 9/10's of the law. Just my two cents.
