I recently sent out a large number of e-mails to known contesters regarding
the upcoming Illinois QSO Party. It included a date and time announcement,
a link to the sponsoring club's (not my club) website, and a "hope to see
you" line.

If you received one of these and considered it "contest spam", pre-contest
scheduling, outside the spirit of the rules or otherwise inappropriate,
please let me know off the reflector.

As it seems to be a problem, I will not otherwise announce on the reflector
that the Illinois QSO Party is this Sunday from 1 to 9 p.m. CDST.

73, Jim N9JF
